This week’s PlayStation Plus update brings a contemporary shoot ‘em up from Grasshopper Manufacture. Sine Mora carries with it a mature story, though one told through anthropomorphic animals.

The title stands out thanks to a mechanic that lets players slow down time, and a race against the clock rather than a struggle to maintain a life bar. The boss fights are big, and the bullets are plentiful. You can read all about Sine Mora in our review.

This is also the last week you'll be able to get Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning as part of the Instant Game Collection. That title rotates off on November 5.

Our Take
I’ve not played a bullet hell game in quite some time, but I’m eager to give this one a try. Grasshopper Manufacture (Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer is Dead) is known for wacky takes on established genres. While I don’t love everything studio head Suda51 does, I’m always willing to give his games a try.
