Deep Silver Announces NASCAR ’14
Deep Silver, publisher of the Dead Island and Metro series, announced their new racing title NASCAR ’14. The game will launch on current consoles and seeks to create the NASCAR gaming experience for fans.
New online multiplayer racing and all official teams and tracks are available for players and fans of NASCAR. You can vote now for which driver will appear on the official box art for the game. The racing game is developed by Eutechnyx, who developed past NASCAR console titles, and is scheduled for launch sometime in early 2014.
Our Take
Hopefully, Eutechnyx's experience from past games can help them deliver the racing game they want for NASCAR '14. That said, their last title, Ride to Hell: Retribution, made quite an impression at the GI office. When they look back for inspiration, let's hope they steer clear of that gem.
