If you didn't pre-order Payday 2 and want to get your hands on the bundle of goodies that came with early copies, you're in luck. If you have been interested in trying the game but wanted to wait for a free demo, today is also your day.
A demo of Overkill's Payday 2 is now live on Xbox 360 with a PlayStation 3 release of the trial coming soon. The Lootbag DLC that came with pre-ordered copies can also be yours today (on both systems) for $4.99. That includes:
- Military red dot weapon sight available for use on all rifles and shotguns
- Bundle of in-game cash
- Skull mask
- Black and red mask
- Mask with "I Love OVERKILL!"

Our Take
The more often I see pre-order bonuses becoming available for sale later, the more hope I have that the publishers are using the practice to motivate rather than punish. I don't mind missing out on these things at launch if I have confidence I'll be able to do so with cash later on.
