October's PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection Titles

October begins next week, and that means a handful new PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection titles. Sony has released the list, though we won't know which games are coming in which weeks until later.

The five titles are:

• Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3)
• Shadow of the Colossus (PS3)
• Poker Night 2 (PS3)
• Hotline Miami (PS3/Vita Cross-buy)
• Sine Mora (Vita)

Our Take
This month's slate isn't quite as strong as the last few, but Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Hotline Miami are solid inclusions. Shadow of the Colossus is also great to have on-hand if you've not played it. Even with a slightly weaker month, PlayStation Plus continues to be a great value.
