Rounding out the month of September's PlayStation Plus Instant Collection games is Ubisoft's portable platformer Rayman Origins. While the follow-up, Rayman Legends, is capturing much of the attention these days, Origins is worth a look (especially since it's free).
Rayman Origins is the first UbiArt Framework title, and since then we've learned that the engine will be powering two non-ragman titles. The JRPG-inspired Child of Light will be using the powerful toolset to create a watercolor aesthetic.
The World War I tale, Valiant Hearts: The Great War, will also be using the UbiArt Framework. You can read more about that here.
Our Take
I love the UbiArt Engine, and look forward to being able to bring Rayman along with me on my travels. As exciting is that a new slate of titles will be announced for October in about a week. Another month means more free games to look forward to.
