Rockstar Warns Xbox 360 Players Not To Install Both GTA V Discs
Xbox 360 players who make installing games to their hard drives part of their gaming routine should use caution with Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar says installing the "play" disc, in addition to the one marked "install" could create performance issues.
Word came via Rockstar's support account on Twitter, in response to customer questions. "An 8GB install is required. For optimal performance, we recommend not installing the play disc," read the tweet. Rockstar didn't respond to additional questions asking for elaboration. For the time being, just don't do it.
This potential issue is only relevant to the Xbox 360 version of the game, as the PlayStation 3 edition ships on a single Blu-ray disc.
