Impressive Parkour Video Creates Mirror's Edge In Real Life

by Kyle Hilliard on Sep 04, 2013 at 03:38 PM

It turns out all you need to create an impressive real-life Mirror's Edge video is a head-mounted camera, some red shoes, and a red glove. It's also important that you be a very skilled parkour runner.

The video, which you can see below, comes from YouTube user Ampisound, a channel specializing in videos about parkour and free running. It's a stunning video that makes me want to run outside and jump on some roofs. Either that, or play some Mirror's Edge. Whatever the case, it makes the incalculable wait for Mirror's Edge 2 that much more difficult to bear.

The runner whose face we never see in the video is Neil Cointet, and the video was directed by Scott Bass. Ampisound says that if this video does well, it has plans to create a follow-up.

For more impressive video game parkour (which has become surprisingly popular lately) head here for Assassin's Creed and here for Luigi.
