Tapping Into The Minds Behind Blizzard's Hearthstone

The collectible card game market has exploded in the digital space thanks to the advent of free-to-play models, and Blizzard is polishing its own addition to the genre. Hearthstone, which is built upon the popular Warcraft aesthetic and mythos, has just entered closed beta.

In the video interview below, you hear from executive producer Hamilton Chu and lead artist Ben Thompson about what sets Hearthstone apart from other collectible card games, how players will safely spend money during the beta, and the plans for launching the game later this year.
