This week, the Wii U's virtual console gets Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II Turbo, and Super Street Fighter II. These are the SNES versions of the games, which claimed the time and money from thousands of gamers in the early '90s.

The news comes from Capcom's Brett Elston via Capcom-UnityAll three games have Miiverse support added, and cost $8 each. Fortunately, if you buy one, you are able to buy the other two at half price. In other words, you can pick up all three for about $16.

What do you think? Are you going to check out one or more of these classics?

Our Take

Anyone who owned a Super Nintendo has fond memories of Street Fighter II. Picking up at least one of these three games is sure to deliver plenty of nostalgia, but all three might be overkill. Unless you're a hardcore fighting fan and obsess over the mechanical differences between the versions, you're probably fine with only getting your favorite. Because of that, these three titles might have been better suited a single collection rather than individual sales.
