Yakuza Restoration Announced For Japan
The next entry in the Yakuza series has been announced in Japan, with very few accompanying details.
The game is called Yakuza Ishin, or Yakuza Restoration. It stars the fellow below who goes by the name Ryoma Sakamoto. Platform, release date, whether or not it will make it to North America are all unknowns right now, but more details are coming in next issue of Japanese video game magazine Famitsu.

The Yakuza series is hugely popular in Japan, but it has never quite found its footing in North America. It certainly has its fans, though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it make its way here. The subtitle, Restoration, makes it sound like a remake of some kind. Hopefully we'll know more soon.
