Rumor: Criterion Games Creative Director Teasing Burnout 3 HD
Criterion Games creative director Alex Ward recently tweeted out a screengrab of a video playing a high-defintion version of Burnout 3.
Along with the images, Ward said, "Hmm? Burnout 3 Takedown in super hi-res? What was that for?"

This really could be just about anything. Ward could be watching a video of a fan created mod or talking about an abandoned project, but the hope is that Criterion is working on an HD re-release of Burnout 3. Burnout is a series I have also been sad to see disappear, and I would love the opportunity to wreck some cars all over again.
