Layton Brothers Mystery Room Breaks One Million Downloads

The Layton series recently recently tried its hand in the mobile market in Europe and the United States for the first time, and it has done very well for itself. To download Layton Brothers is free, and then you can purchase additional cases for a fee, so downloads don't automatically equate to sales, but it is still a large number.

Our Take
The Layton Brothers is not our favorite game in the series, but we still like the franchise, so it's exciting to see it gain popularity outside of the DS and 3DS market. Maybe this means we will see the core Professor Layton games come to mobile devices, as well.
