Robot Entertainment Grants Wish, Makes Child Developer For A Day

by Kyle Hilliard on Jun 26, 2013 at 02:44 PM

Young Wade Sharp has osteogenesis imperfecta, or brittle bone disease. His wish is to be a video game creator, so Make-A-Wish partnered with Robot Entertainment to make his dream come true.

Sharp visited the developer of Orcs Must Die and Orcs Must Die 2 and got a sneak peak at the studio's unannounced new game. Sharp also helped the team design a new character based on himself. Meet Wade the Supermaster below. Sharp helped with the art direction of the Supermaster by selecting his colors and sound effects, and developing his back story.

After a hard day of game designing and lunch with the team, Sharp took home a huge collection of Robot Entertainment swag, including a statue of his character.

Robot Entertainment has posted a number of pictures from Sharp's day at the studio on its Facebook page, and is promising more after it officially announces the game. Presumably, the pictures show a number of secret details that only Robot Entertainment and Sharp are privy to. Right now, all we can assume is that the game is called Echo Prime, and that it is of the science-fiction variety.

Make sure to check out Robot Entertainment's Facebook page to learn more about its special guest developer.
