Today is the day many iOS users have been waiting for. The shadow war against the alien invaders is finally available for iPads and iPhones. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is on the move.

Firaxis and 2K Games impressed fans of the legendary X-COM series and new players alike last year with its fantastic new take on the franchise. Now, the experience is available while away from home.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown will run you $20, but you're getting a full, current-gen single-player experience. The tabletop miniature-like multiplayer mode found in the other versions will be coming later as a free update.
