Development Under Way On Three Assassin’s Creed Titles
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says that his company has three titles from three different teams in production for the blockbuster franchise.
Speaking with Kotaku, Guillemot said, “We are making sure the teams who are creating the different iterations have enough time – two years, three years, so that they can take risk and they can change the concept enough so that it can be appealing and fresh.”
Presumably, the three titles Guillemot is referring to are Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and the next two annual installments. It’s possible that he means ACIV, next year’s game, and some sort of mobile spin-off, but that would make it tough for the ACIV team to have two years on whatever the 2015 title ends up being.
