Dragon Age Inquisition Heading To PS4, Xbox One

by Tim Turi on Jun 10, 2013 at 10:40 AM

Bioware took the stage today during Electronic Arts’ E3 2013 press conference to offer the “first new look at the next generation of RPGs”. Dragon Age Inquisition will arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in fall 2014.

A trailer begins with a female narrator (possibly Flemeth) warning of incoming fires that will rain from the heavens. Lightning strikes a battlefield as a horned Qunari warrior looks on. Catapaults fire their flaming loads at a castle. The sky rips open and meteors plummet to the earth from the glowing green nether. A huge dragon perches on a mountain and breaths fire towards the screen. Morrigan (of Dragon Age: Origins fame) appears on the screen and shares a vague prophecy of coming dark days.

Bioware promises popular characters from the previous entries will return for this third chapter.
