Lionhead Reboots Fable Forums

by Jeff Cork on Jun 03, 2013 at 05:34 AM

Lionhead has rebooted its Fable forums, providing fans an upgraded space to talk about the series. That's not much in and of itself, but the timing – a scant week before E3 – has us curious if there's more going on than a little online housekeeping.

Microsoft is showing off more of its new Xbox One console at E3. During its reveal event, Microsoft said that there were 15 games in development for the upcoming console. Fable has been a part of the Xbox (and its E3 stage presence) since the first game launched on the platform in 2004, so it wouldn't be that surprising if the company announced a new entry next week.

We haven't heard anything from the series since the Fable: The Journey, was released last year. The Kinect-powered game was a disappointment, so here's hoping that any upcoming games in the franchise bring the series back on course.

In the meantime, head over to new forums and poke around. Lionhead is giving people who register within the next two weeks a special forum medal, so get a move on.
