Ouya Gets Soul Fjord, Exclusive Title From Airtight Games
Airtight Games is following up the success of Quantum Conundrum with a title exclusively for the Android-based Ouya console. Soul Fjord is a mashup blending Norse mythology and 70s funk music.
The developer diary below doesn't reveal too much about the title, or how its rhythm-based combat is executed. All we know is a bit of the story and that it's a dungeon crawler with randomly generated areas. There is a brief moment of combat shown, but not enough to make any kind of estimation about how Soul Fjord is played.
With the Ouya launching in just over a month (and many backers without the consoles they are expecting), it's time for production on both hardware and quality software to ramp up quickly. Locking up an Airtight Games exclusive is a good start, but the Ouya has a long road ahead.
