Frozen Synapse Gets An iPad Release Date

Mode 7 is working to bring turn-based squad tactical game Frozen Synapse to multiple fronts, and the iPad version has just gotten a release date.

The game comes out on May 16th for the iPad. An Android version is also in the works, but it does not have a release date just yet. Mode 7 says that it is exploring other mobile platforms, but it's all contingent on the iPad version's success.

Frozen Synapse charges you with directing your squad in 55 single-player missions or through five multiplayer modes presented in a top-down view with the aim of letting players strategically fight their way out of the turn-based boards.

Mode 7 is also working on Frozen Endzone.
