Xbox Live Subscribers Number Over 46 Million

During their third quarter 2013 earnings report today, Microsoft disclosed that Xbox Live subscriptions have increased 18% over the prior year's same period. The total number of subscribers is now over 46 million worldwide.

Additionally, the entertainment and devices division posted revenue of $2.53 billion, which is up 56% over last year.  This news comes right before the NPD retail sales data for March 2013 is due to be released.
