Capcom Aiming For Stronger Single-Player Content, Story Modes In Their Fighting Games

by Mike Futter on Apr 15, 2013 at 03:18 PM

When NetherRealm's Mortal Kombat reboot arrived in 2011, expectations of the fighting genre were redefined. Now, on the eve of Injustice: Gods Among Us' release, Capcom has commented on one of the biggest discrepancies between their titles and NetherRealm's: story.

The conversation about improved single-player content has been an active one for years. Today though, fans of Street Fighter and brethren were given hope. In a reply on the Capcom Unity forums, Capcom senior vice-president Christian Svensson shared this,

Maybe we'll finally learn why Ryu solves all of his problems with violence (and if he ever washes that red headband). I've always wondered what kind of product Guile uses in his hair. Finally, the biggest mystery of them all will be solved. What does the "M" in M. Bison stand for?
