Shovel Knight Kickstarter Ends Quadrupling Its Funding Goal

Shovel Knight, the Mega Man/Castlevania/Duck Tales inspired platformer seeking funding on Kickstarter, has more than met its funding goals.

Developer Yacht Club Games opened its Kickstarter seeking $75,000, and it ended yesterday with a grand total of $311,502 pledged by backers.

Shovel Knight is planned for release on PC, Linux, Mac, Wii U, and 3DS, and you can head here to vote for the game to appear on Steam as part of its Greenlight program.
