Rayman Legends' Delay Means Lots Of New Content

Rayman Legends, the formerly Wii U exclusive platformer, was delayed seven months earlier this year, but according to Rayman creator Michel Ancel, the team is using the extra time wisely.

Official Nintendo Magazine published an excerpt from an upcoming interview with Ancel on its website where he talks about what the team has been doing with the extra time, and what he thought of the fan backlash when the delay was announced. Michel said, "I wasn't shocked, but it was really hard for us. Of course, there are more important issues and problems in the world but we worked really hard to make something and were so involved, it was difficult for us and the fans."

As far as the new content goes, Ancel said the team has been able to add 30 new levels and several new bosses with the extra time.

Rayman Legends is coming to Wii U, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 this September.
