Minecraft Takes On Bioshock Infinite's Columbia

by Mike Futter on Apr 09, 2013 at 03:12 AM

Yesterday, we took you on a tour of a blocky version of Jurassic Park's Isla Nublar, lovingly recreated in Mojang's Minecraft. That story spurred tips about other ambitious projects, including this pixelated adaptation of a section of Bioshock Infinite's Columbia created by user ilikecutepeople. Complete with skylines and Fink Manufacturing crates, visitors can ride the rails, visit Comstock House, and mingle with the working masses in Finktown.

Alas, there is no sign of Monument Island yet, nor are Songbird or the Handymen in sight. Perhaps this is a version of Columbia without the Vox Populi. You can download the map at PlanetMinecraft and try your hand at being Booker DeWitt or, for that matter, Zachary Comstock.
