DayZ Creator Says Sony Is "Interested" In Console Version

While Dean Hall works on the standalone version of DayZ – the online survival horror Arma 2 mod – there may be more in the works for the title.

Talking to The Escapist, Hall couldn't say anything definitive about a release on a console, but did say that he's met with Sony about the idea. "It appears to be the kind of game that Sony are interested in," he said. "I think we just have to wait and see. We've talked and met with Sony, and they're very – you know, they're obviously interested."

In general, Hall says that a console version is "almost certain," assuming the standalone PC version isn't a mess.
