Borderlands Animated Short Film In The Works

2K Games and Gearbox have announced a partnership with the Academy of Art called the Borderlands Cooperative which will lead to the creation of an animated Borderlands short film.

Students at the Academy of Art are tasked with creating teams to write Borderlands short stories, which will then be submitted as storyboards to Gearbox. Which ever story the Academy of Art, 2K Games, and Gearbox judges pick will be made into a short film by the school's animation students. The winning team will also get a chance to interview for an internship with Gearbox.

The animated short film should be completed by the end of this year.
