Release Date For Sixth Resident Evil Movie Announced

After the release of Resident Evil: Retribution grossed $221 million worldwide, the franchise is back with a sixth chapter.

Director Paul W. S. Anderson says he prepared a story for a new trilogy which leads into the sixth film. Though the film does not yet have an official title, it does have a release date set for September 12, 2014. Star Milla Jovovich will be returning as the lead protagonist and shooting should commence this fall.
