by Louis Garcia on Feb 27, 2013 at 12:24 PM

The Slacker music app is now available on the Xbox 360, allowing those with an Xbox Live Gold membership to listen to millions of songs, as well as hundreds of stations, for free.

“Slacker brings the world’s most complete music service to Xbox Live Gold subscribers in the US and Canada for free,” says Craig Rechenmacher, Slacker’s chief marketing officer in a press release.  “Whether you’re into country, hip hop or want to listen to the soundtrack from your favorite game, Slacker’s team of music experts makes it easy to find and discover the world’s best music from the comfort of your living room.”

What might interest video game music lovers most is a new station centered just on that genre, curated by Dale North, editor of video game blog Destructoid. News and sports stations from ABC and ESPN are also available for interested ears.

Slacker is also available for Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, Bing Toolbar, iOS, Android, and BlackBerry.
