StarCraft II: Heart Of The Swarm Global Launch Parties Detailed
Blizzard is hosting nine day-long launch parties for its new StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm expansion, giving fans a chance to enjoy some festivities.
The US launch event will take place in Irvine, California at the Irvine Spectrum Mall, beginning at 9 p.m. PDT on March 11. Some of the events planned are live eSports matches between pro gamers from the US and South Korea, prize giveaways, and the chance to get your copy of the game singed by the developers.
Launch parties from Australia, South Korea, France, and the US will be streamed online via Twitch starting at 3 a.m. PDT on March 11. Blizzard promises viewers will get exclusive content during the stream, including community-created videos.
The game is set a couple years after Wings of Liberty, and follows Kerrigan’s quest to reunite the Swarm.
