by Matt Helgeson on Feb 14, 2013 at 02:23 PM

Sony's streaming music service, which works with all current PlayStation devices, is adding a new channel devoted to video game music.

The Game Music Channel is live right now, and features music from games and franchises like Assassin's Creed, Silent Hill, Prince of Persia, Final Fantasy, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Sony says that new songs will be added to the Game Channel on a weekly basis. Also, the company plans to add 13 other new channels to Music Unlimited in the weeks and months to come, for genres such as Old School Hip-Hop and New Wave.
