Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron-Inspired Titan Figure Unveiled At Toy Fair

by Matt Miller on Feb 12, 2013 at 09:12 AM

The biggest official Transformers figure ever produced is on its way late this year, and its design draws from the character’s recent appearance in High Moon Studios’ game.

The E3 of the toy world is the annual New York-based Toy Fair. The trade event is currently in full swing, and a number of cool video game-related figures and toys are being shown for the first time.

One of the coolest is a newly announced figure for Metroplex, the titanic Autobot character who plays a big part in the game’s storyline. This Titan-class figure is the largest official figure ever made in the Transformers brand, standing at 24” tall in robot form. The figure can change into three modes, echoing the same transformation modes depicted in the character’s original 1980s toy. The figure will include lights and sounds, and even come with his own little sidekick character, Scamper. The figure is planned for release this fall, with an estimated price of $125.

It’s exciting to see Transformers: Fall of Cybertron getting such a wide array of figures – Metroplex is the biggest and most exciting toy yet to be revealed in the line, but Hasbro already has a number of other figures inspired by the game. Check out Metroplex’s three forms in the pictures below.

Will you shell out the big bucks for this massive figure when he releases later this year?
