Double Fine is now taking pre-orders for the Amnesia Fortnight Special Edition Box Set featuring five game prototypes, 2 Player Productions documentary episodes on Blu-ray, three bonus prototypes from previous Fortnights, and a soundtrack featuring music from this year's prototypes.

Amnesia Fortnight is an event where Double Fine splits their development team into small groups, with each four- to five-person group tasked with creating a game prototype. The results are eclectic; Hack 'n’ Slash looks like a Nintendo Entertainment System title inspired by The Legend of Zelda, while The White Birch is an eerie 3D platformer.

All eight prototypes are DRM-free and on Steam. Download codes will be sent once ordered so players can download their content while they wait for their box set. Prices vary, with a box with no case setting buyers back $30, and a game box will all five of the project-lead signed slipcases costing $70. Those who take a particular liking to a game can purchase a box set and signed slipcase for just that game at $45. All games are for Windows.

In previous years Amnesia Fortnight sparked development for Double Fine hits like Costume Quest, Stacking, Iron Brigade, and Middle Manager of Justice.

Those interested in a box set can visit Double Fine’s website to place a pre-order.
