BioWare and Electronic Arts have announced the first expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, and introduces the Hutts, a new planet, a new level cap, and more.
The Rise of the Hutt Cartel comes out in spring 2013, and will cost $9.99 for subscribers and be $19.99 for everyone else. Either way, if you pre-order the title by January 7 you can get five days early access.
The expansion features new story-based missions on a planet called Makeb, and the five new levels will raise the level cap to 55. New abilities, gear, and skill points will also be available as you progress.
Further details are light right now, but BioWare says that the planet holds a big secret that the Republic and Sith factions will want to get their hands on.
