Report: Borderlands Title For iOS Coming

In the world of Borderlands, there's always another piece of loot to get. For fans of the franchise, there's a report that they will be able to get their hands on another new item: an iOS title called Borderlands Legends.

IGN has spotted an advertisement in the digital strategy guide for Borderlands 2 that teases Borderland Legends for an October release.

The game lets you play as some of the characters from the original Borderlands as they defend themselves from oncoming waves of enemies in randomized missions. As is usual for the series, thousands of weapons and cash will be available, and the title also features 36 powers and abilities (each character has their own set) and a "strategic cover system."

Neither Gearbox nor 2K Games has officially commented on Borderlands Legends.
