Guild Wars 2 Receives Halloween Update
NCsoft and ArenaNet are making good on their promise to keep Guild Wars 2 alive with a steady stream of additional content.
The Shadow of the Mad King update tells the story of a legendary king slain by his own people and thought to be gone forever. ArenaNet is keeping quiet on the majority of the update, as player exploration is the main allure of the game.
Some of the content is known however. Shadow of the Mad King will include the new story, Halloween activities such as trick-or-treating, costumes that grant new skills, and Halloween-themed crafting recipes.
Much of the content is limited to the Halloween season, so players are urged to try the update when it releases later today.
