Devil May Cry Getting A Demo

by Kyle Hilliard on Oct 14, 2012 at 10:10 AM

The upcoming Ninja Theory developed Devil May Cry will be getting a demo pre-release in order to help convince those who are still upset about Dante's hair a chance to give the game a shot.

The announcement of a demo comes from the New York Comic Con panel featuring the game's producer Alex Jones. The panel also confirmed Mundus as an antagonist, the villain from the original Devil May Cry. Joystiq spoke with Jones about the possibility of Vergil as a playable character in the game, but he didn't offer confirmation in either direction. He did say, however, that a playable Vergil, "will not be on the disc," which implies that DLC might be able to add him later, even if he isn't there out of the box.

Devil May Cry or DmC is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 on January 15 and PC a little bit later.
