Sony Patents Controller That Changes Temperature

by Kyle Hilliard on Oct 12, 2012 at 03:22 PM

Sony patented a version of its Move controller recently that will apparently heat up and cool down depending on what's happening in the game.

It's certainly... interesting. The first thing that comes to my mind is hand sweating, but it does cool down, so maybe that prevents that.

Whatever you think of this controller patent, it's definitely better than this patent that pauses games that show you ads. What do you think? Will a warm controller in your hands make that lava level all the more intimidating? And will a cool controller make that snow level feel more icy?
