Japan Won't Be Seeing Metal Gear Rising Revengeance On 360
Kojima Productions has announced that the Xbox 360 version of its upcoming Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is being canceled. All is not lost for North American gamers, however.
Kojima Productions announced the decision on its web site. A Konami source has told Eurogamer that the Platinum Games-developed title is still coming to North America and Europe on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. There's no official word on why the project won't be coming in its native land, though it probably stems from the system's relative lack of popularity compared to the PlayStation 3.
The game is due for a February release.
