Weekend Warrior 08/24/12

The Minnesota State Fair is here, so some of us will be stuffing ourselves with fried foods, while the rest of us stuff our eyes with great video games. We hope the summer never ends.

Laleh Azarshin: I'll be playing some Borderlands with my husband in anticipation of Borderlands 2, and hitting up the MN State Fair for a pronto pup and some deep fried pickles.

Kyle Hilliard: I usually cover the news on the weekends, but this Saturday Jim Reilly has been kind enough to give me a day off so the family and I can check out the Minnesota State Fair. If I understand correctly, it’s quite the spectacle. Other than that, it’s Darksiders II the second the baby goes to bed.

Jason Pfitzer: I will almost undoubtably be playing Guild Wars 2 all weekend long.

Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I’ll be playing every Minnesotan’s favorite game: Go to the State Fair and try to eat yourself to a heart attack in a single day. I’ll also be playing more Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, if I fail at the first game.

Ben Hanson: I’m not sure what to do with myself this weekend. I finally finished Xenoblade so I have lost my life’s crusade. I also finished Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Every once in a while I remind myself that I haven’t finished my first run of Diablo 3 yet, that is embarrassing, so I might go back to that but I’m also hoping to play more Final Fantasy IV and Tales from Space: About a Blob on Steam.

Andrew Reiner: Darksiders II, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and Dust: An Elysian Tail should consume most of my weekend. In any free time I have, I'm going to watch Dexter: Season Six, and play Minecraft on Xbox Live with my incredibly pregnant wife Kelly.
