Reader Discussion: Which Arcade Fighter Reigns Supreme?

Gamers who have been around for a while will no doubt remember feeding quarters into cabinets in order to beat up a computer-generated opponent in increasingly gory ways. The fighting game genre is one of the most beloved in the industry. There are several very notable titles, with the newest contender being the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Fighters have seen everything from the hyper-gory (Mortal Kombat) to the downright goofy (Facebreakers). We at Game Informer would like to know, which arcade-style fighter is the best? Which one would keep you sitting in front of your TV for hours, trying to master all the combos on a particular character?
