Rock Band Blitz is the first game in the series to completely abandon the plastic instruments that made the games so famous. You’ll be able to play most of your preexisting Rock Band 3 songs in Rock Band Blitz, but the game also comes with 25 songs that are new to the series. The new artists include Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Queen, and more.

Rock Band Blitz hits PSN on August 28 for $14.99 and XBLA on August 29 for 1200 MS Points. I am so ready to jam out to Queen’s “Death on Two Legs.” What are you excited for?
