Skyrim Update 1.7 Enters Beta

Update 2: Bethesda now says the 1.7 update goes live worldwide for Xbox 360 this Thursday and in North America for PlayStation 3. PS3 users in Europe can expect it next week.

Update: Bethesda says the update is now available to everyone on Steam. Console versions of the 1.7 patch are being submitted to console manufacturers this week.

A beta version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim title update 1.7 is available now through Steam. Details about the update for Xbox 360 and PlayStation are coming later. "Specific to PS3 players, features included in the 1.6 title update, including Mounted Combat, will be rolled into 1.7," Bethesda says.

Fixed rare crash related to dragon landings

Fixed logic error with loading screens from add-ons (Xbox 360)

Improved recognition with Kinect voice commands (Xbox 360)

Kinect-enabled dragon language shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish work properly (Xbox 360)

Fixed issue with Dawnguard Kinect-enabled dragon shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish (Xbox 360)
