Ubisoft Releases New Assassin's Creed III Trailer, Limited-Edition Info

by Jeff Cork on Jul 02, 2012 at 04:23 AM

Assassin's Creed III comes out on October 30, and Ubisoft has revealed a few versions of the game that are bound to get fans excited. Console players can get a special edition of the game with loads of goodies, while the PC deluxe download focuses on in-game extras.

The Assassin's Creed III Limited Edition is available in North America and Latin America for $119.99 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It includes the game, a 9" statue of Connor, a special flag, and a belt buckle.

On the PC front, the Digital Deluxe Edition can be downloaded for the PC from UbiShop and other digital retailers. It'll set you back $64.99. It won't take up any shelf space, but it includes a load of in-game content. It includes the game, George Washington's notebook (featuring actual stories from the American revolution), three single-player missions focused on the search for Captain Kidd's treasure, the Captain of the Aquila and traditional colonial assassin outfits, a boarding ax and Scottish flintlock for the campaign, sharpshooter and redcoat multiplayer characters, and a collection of music from the Assassin's Creed series.

Don't confuse these releases with the Ubiworkshop edition of the game. That's a totally different beast.
