Capcom Tossing Another Edition Of Resident Evil 6 On The Pile

by Jeff Cork on Jun 25, 2012 at 06:30 AM

As if the decision to even pick up Resident Evil 6 in the first place weren't already hard enough, Capcom is releasing a load of different collector's editions to pick from. The company has revealed another bundle, which includes a hoodie, steel-book packaging, and more for the game in Europe.

Take a look at the contents below, straight from Capcom Europe.

  • Resident Evil 6 game
  • Zombie Steel Book
  • Exclusive Resident Evil 6 hardback artbook showing concept art from the game
  • Resident Evil 6 Avatar DLC code for 360 owners OR an RE6 Dynamic Theme for PS3 owners
  • Ivy University, Tall Oaks hooded sweatshirt (one size)
  • ‘The RE6 forces emblems’ – High quality enamelled zinc alloy emblems of the three main protagonists squad insignias, mounted and set in a limited numbered frame authenticated with signatures from Senior producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and RE6 Director Eiichiro Sasaki. A must have piece for any fan of Resident Evil!
  • All of the above amazing goodies are bundled together in the lenticular ‘Needle Bomb’ collectors box (as seen in the RE6 announce trailer)

There's no word yet on whether this edition will be heading to the U.S. or how much it'll cost. It wouldn't be the first time that Capcom kept a limited-edition release exclusive to Europe (remember Dead Rising 2's Outbreak Edition, which included a 12" zombie figurine?). If it did make it to our shores, it would join the game's Anthology Edition. That one might be pretty nifty, but it's trumped by this Japan-only release, which includes a leather jacket. It's about $1,300, too.
