Phantasy Star Universe Servers Shutting Down Soon
You will still be able to access the single-player portion of the game, but in three months, you will no longer be able to play online.
On September 7, 2012, the servers are going down. The announcement comes from Phantasy Star Universe's GM who said, "This was not an easy decision but there comes a time when we must consider the level of service and support we can provide for an ongoing game, and balance those concerns against preparing for the future, and providing you with new opportunities and new experiences."
If you've already paid to continue to play past the September date, it shouldn't be a problem to receive a pro-rated refund according to the posting on Phantasy Star Universe's message boards. You can check out the full message here.
