The Holmes Legacy Continues On PS3 And 360

by Tim Turi on Jun 04, 2012 at 08:45 AM

Today Atlus announced it's publishing The Testament of Sherlock Holmes developed by Frogwares for consoles. The studio has been developing Sherlock Holmes games since 2004, and the legendary detective's next case is heading to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is the first game in the series built from the ground up for the HD generation, with an all-new engine that lets players comprehensively explore crime scenes and interact with important persons. Holme's trusty partner, Watson, joins in on the hunt as the duo cross unsavory characters and explore grisly murders. The trailer even shows a freshly dug grave sporting the Sherlock's name. Intrigue!

Frogware's last Holmes game, Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper was a decent game (read our review), and we're curious to see what the developer has in store for us next. The game hits PS3 and 360 this September.
