Toy Soldiers Dev Reveal Ascend: New Gods

Original Story: Signal Studios, the team the Xbox Live Arcade game Toy Soldiers, is moving out of the strategy genre and into violent action-combat.
The announcement trailer for Ascend: New Gods showed a bulky red soldier with a skull mask using a scythe to violently destroy enemies. Along with the smaller guys, there was also a large ogre-type enemy that Mr. Scythe-skull-mask was able to climb and kill by flying into its face, scythe extended.
As the trailer closed out, red light engulfed Mr. Scythe-skull-mask as he ascended toward the sky from the shoulder of the dead ogre.
Ascend: New Gods is set for a 2013 release.
