Killer Freaks From Outer Space Becomes ZombiU, Still Wii U Exclusive
Last year Ubisoft announced Killer Freaks from Outer Space, an FPS that will only be available on the Wii U. While the exclusivity remains intact, the game’s main enemies have shifted from weird aliens to flesh-hungry zombies.
The trailer shown during Ubisofts E3 2012 press conference showed freeze-framed snapshots across England in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. A business man puts a gun in his mouth, a driver rams a zombie off the London Bridge, and a woman is eaten alive while hanging off the edge of a building. The game looks bloody, intense, and downright grim.
The trailer was stylish and got us excited for the game, but we’re eager to see it in action. Will it still include the arcade gameplay seen last year in Killer Freaks from Outer Space? It takes a lot these days to make a zombie game truly stand out from the undead crowd.
