Wii U Will Include A Web Browser

Nintendo showed off the Wii U's web browsing capabilities during the company's pre-press conference today.

Players can use touch controls to scroll through web pages and tap to access links on the tablet controller. The imagery will also be mirrored on your TV screen. Nintendo is also incorporating a curtain system that blocks what you're looking at on the tablet from the TV, allowing you to pull back the onscreen curtains dramatically when you're finally ready to play that hilarious YouTube video. I guess your friends can look at some drab purple curtains instead of your clumsy search typing.

Nintendo classifies this as "Browsing as entertainment."
