David Hayter, Jennifer Hale Join République Voice Cast
Many gamers may recognize the voices of at least two characters in République, the ambitious first title from developer Camouflaj.
The studio announced both David Hayter and Jennifer Hale are joining the cast list. Hayter might be best known for voicing Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series. Hale previously voiced Metal Gear’s Naomi Hunter, Metroid’s Samus Aran, and Mass Effect’s Commander Shepard.
“David will voice the role of the head revolutionary in the Orwellian world of République who authors much of the anti-Overseer propaganda that players come across in the game,” says Camouflaj’s Ryan Payton. “It’s a character I wrote specifically with David in mind, as he’s not only very politically active but also an accomplished writer.
“Jennifer will play the role of a villain character we’re simply calling The Mentor,” Payton added.
